Discovered Mistakes in an Audit. Landmine or Opportunity?

What happens when you are audited and the auditor finds a mistake? From my perspective, as long as the mistake is an honest mistake, it is a lesson learned. Don’t be afraid of audits, look at them as a learning experience.
