Knowing what your particular state’s regulations are is important because you could be in violation and it’s not something that’s readily communicated. So having somebody that you can rely on to give you that information to make sure you’re compliant is not a bad idea. Whether it be an attorney, whether it be an HR consultant when it comes to payroll, or just, you know, subscribing to various organizations that are going to give you those updates.
A lot of associations will stay on top of those things to let businesses that are in that particular industry, “Hey, here’s what’s going on in our industry that you need to pay attention to.”
