Well, one of the great things about outsourced bookkeeping is you’re not going to have somebody on your payroll that you have to pay, okay? Yes, you may be paying slightly higher hourly rate to that outsourced bookkeeper, but in essence, you’re not going to have to pay for benefits, you’re not going to have to pay payroll taxes, you’re not going to have to pay PTO, you’re going to have a bookkeeper, as long as you’re in business, you’re not going to have to worry about that bookkeeper taking time off and you need something done when they’re on vacation.
Who’s going to do it? You have to have people cross-trained and that’s all, all costs the employer money. When you outsource, you’re paying a fee for the time that they’re spending on your work and they’re always going to be available for you.
