It is 2025. Get your onboarding straight. I have a new client who is just starting their business and they are novices. They have no idea what to do when it comes to hiring employees. The first question they asked was, “I guess the first thing I need to do is get their driver’s license and their IDs”, and I said, “Ooh, no, that’s not what you do.”
You got a lot more to do before you ask for those IDs. So I was able to put together for them a whole onboarding checklist. The order from the very beginning when you have an idea that you have a job you need to hire for and what the steps are to take, to go through that process from a job description all the way through to the job offer, and then you get the IDs.
