Workers’ comp is a race against the clock. Wanna win? Listen up. So I had a client who called me the other day and asked about an employee who was driving to a client’s location and they were in a car accident and they were injured. And my client asked, “does that fall under workers’ comp?” Absolutely.
Anytime an employee is on the clock at the premises. Being paid by the employer to do something, whether it be on the premises or not, even at a company picnic, playing a softball game, and they get injured. That’s all work related and it falls under workers’ comp. Workers’ comp can be complicated.
