You don’t want to have these goals and then just tell employees this is what I need you to do and they don’t understand why they’re doing those things. If they understand this is our financial goal and I do that every quarter, this is our quarterly goal, this is where we need to be, this is what we have to do to get there, and then we break it down by individual what their role is to get to the end of the quarter and meet that goal.
So people who want to hide their financials, people who just want to dictate to people, employees, what to do. To me, that’s not the environment I want to create. That’s not the culture I want to have. If that culture exists, it takes a certain individual to work in that culture and be successful.
