In making a decision on your accounting software, do you want to host it locally or in the cloud? And that depends upon how many people are going to use the software, where they’re located. If you’re a virtual company, you want it in the cloud. I have clients right now that set me up with a VPN because they want to keep it in house.
They want to keep that on their local server in their office. Okay. If your CPA needs a copy, I’ve had cases where that’s the situation, and then the accountant gets a copy while they’re working on the taxes, and then you can’t make changes until the accountant gets back to you with the changes they’ve made based on year-end work.
So having it in the cloud, everybody can do it.
