Levels of expertise in outsourced bookkeeping services can vary just like they can vary when you hire someone. You can have a basic service who will do basic data entry, maybe not be able to analyze or prepare financial statements. They may just do the data entry that then gets turned over to an accountant who would do the rest of the work.
You can get that, a basic data entry service, all the way to what my company does is we have senior accountants more or less that do provide bookkeeping service, but we can do some analysis for you to save you in having them to work with your CPA. We can take it a little bit further than, than a basic service, but you can get a service that’s basic all the way to somebody who can do the analysis for you.
