As mentioned earlier, I attended the HR Florida State Conference a few weeks ago. Jon Petz has been the emcee for years but this year I discovered more about him. I attended a concurrent session entitled “Boring Meetings Suck”. Little did I know that this was the title of one of Jon’s books.
I got some great take-aways from that session. However, the most significant discovery I learned about Jon this year was when I was visiting the SHRM bookstore on site and saw that Jon had written another book entitled “Significance In Simple Moments”. I picked up the book, not knowing what it was about and felt compelled to purchase it.
I brought it home and read it in one sitting and boy, is it a life changer. You have to read it and experience it yourself. It will bring tears to your eyes; make you feel significant and most importantly will encourage you to tell others that they are significant. By simply giving them the #7ofHearts.
I want to give this book to everyone it was that powerful to me. Please check it out and I’d love to hear your thoughts.
