When is the last time you have looked at your Employee Handbook? For most it was probably when you were onboarded with your employer. An Employee Handbook is a tool that we all should refer to from time to time. It provides valuable information about the policies and procedures of the company. It contains information about
- time off benefits
- health benefits
- compliance with federal, state and local laws,
- our code of conduct,
- employment definitions
- confidentiality
- health & safety
- harassment procedures
We encourage you to take the time to review the handbook now and then periodically use it as a reference tool. It is not just a one-time read.
Do you have a copy of your handbook? If not, do you know how to access it? If you have any questions regarding the handbook, you can contact your HR representative who will be happy to assist you.
Happy Reading!
