HR Tip – Employee Handbooks

When is the last time you have looked at your Employee Handbook? For most it was probably when you were onboarded with your employer. An Employee Handbook is a tool that we all should refer to from time to time. It provides valuable information about the policies and procedures of the company.  It contains information about

  • time off benefits
  • health benefits
  • compliance with federal, state and local laws,
  • our code of conduct,
  • employment definitions
  • confidentiality
  • health & safety
  • harassment procedures

We encourage you to take the time to review the handbook now and then periodically use it as a reference tool.  It is not just a one-time read.
