First of all, timekeeping systems allow for people to punch in a few minutes early and it will round up.
There are some miscommunication here, and there’s some contradiction that the employee is the victim of, and the manager who then called the employee in to discuss the same thing. Obviously, when the employee explained what happened, she did not have her sign the document because the employee was correct.
She was following instructions from the first order and not the second order. So here’s a lesson in communication and properly communicating and understanding how timekeeping systems work.
