This is an interesting one because the employee really is not doing anything wrong. If there was no policy or if the policy just said they can work remotely, where they work shouldn’t matter.
Working from home or working from the forest, working from a cruise ship shouldn’t matter if the policy is written properly. And this is what’s caused the con confusion ’cause the supervisor thinks you should just work from home and the employee feels working remotely.
They can work anywhere as long as the employee produces what the expectation is for them while they’re working remotely.
