This supervisor is totally unacceptable and if they worked for me, they wouldn’t be working for me very long.
To expect an employee to get a task done and give them two minutes to get it done is totally unacceptable. The employee was absolutely right in saying that this is an unrealistic expectation and your lack of planning does not cause an emergency on my part. The supervisor should have evaluated the situation, and to be honest, maybe they should have just done the project themselves if they were that late in asking the employee, I know that’s what I would’ve done.
