I totally get where Veronica’s coming from, but there’s a lot to unpack here and I don’t really have time to do it in this short video.
But what I would like to say is that. Whether this was the HR department or it was the supervisor speaking to Veronica, they should have explained the matrix that they determined the 3% raise on. It’s quite possible that Veronica was at the high end of her salary range, and therefore, with a rating of what she received, which was the three-and-a-half-to-four rating, would only generate a 3% raise.
Because of the fact that she was at the higher end of her salary range. So, like I said, there’s a lot to unpack here, but Veronica should have been explained in more detail how they arrived at the 3% and why her performance matched the 3%, because of how their salary structure was created.
